One of the most highly anticipated additions to Guitar Hero World Tour is the drumkit. With Guitar Hero feeling the heat from it's rival Rock Band, they need to keep up and offer the drum kit that Guitar Hero fans were crying out for. Now they have done it - are they any good?

With numerous promotional videos showing the likes of Travis Barker testing out the drum kit, initial feedback was very positive - the touch sensitive pads and raised cymbols were prooving a hit with Guitar Hero World Tour fans in the States! It has to be said however, that in the States, numerous users have reported that they have experienced problems with their drum kits - Activision is trying it's best to help these customers, and ensures that only a limited number of drum kits were affected with these faults.

When looking at the Guitar Hero World Tour Drum Kit you will immediately notice that the kit has two symbols, which the Rock Band kit does not offer. This makes playing the drums far more realistic, and there seems to be a common agreement that this progression on the Rock Band offering is a significant improvement.
