Guitar Hero World Tour is going to be the first version of Guitar Hero to showcase a new guitar. This new guitar is going to be about 25% bigger then previous version and will be much closer to real life sized guitars. This is a great move and will make the experience much more authentic.

In addition to the larger size, the new guitar will have a larger whammy bar which will make it easier to use through better access. The strum will also be less noisy and will also be longer.

As in previous versions of the game, you have to use the select button to activate the Star Power, and this button has been moved to make it easier to use. It is now located just beneath the strum bar, which again means it will be easier to access.

If you are familiar with previous versions of Guitar Hero guitars, you will know that the neck is detachable, however previous problems have existed with the connectivity. As such, the neck has been redesigned and is now much more sturdy and will result in the removal of such connectivity problems.

A new feature on the neck of the guitar is the new touch-sensitive pad. This is an awesome new feature and means that the guitarist can now �tap strum� the guitar in addition to the way they regularly play. This is a great addition and will definitely be a reason why people will be upgrading to the new version of Guitar Hero.

The new guitar looks set to be a great improvement on previous version of the guitars in Guitar Hero games, and will mean that this is going to be one of the must have games this Christmas.

Guitar Hero World Tour has one obvious and vitally important addition to the Guitar Hero 3 game � the Drum Kit! The Drums are made up of five drum pads (three drums and two symbols) and a kick peddle for the bass drum.

The drum kit is wireless and benefits from touch velocity based pads. These pads will determine how hard they have been hit and will respond with louder or softer notes accordingly � this unique feature will allow you to much more expressive in terms of your drum playing..

The drum kit looks awesome when set up and is well designed so that it can be dismantled in a matter or seconds so that it can be easily stored away.

Travis Barker from Blink 182 who was involved with the designing of the Guitar Hero drum kit asked: �Will it be an exact interpretation of what that drummer is playing � can I close my eyes and play a song that I wrote the drum part for and score a perfect score if I am playing it right?� and then he goes on to say his answer to that question is: �YES�!

This has got to be a sure sign that Guitar Hero World Tour have invested the time and money in getting the drum kit absolutely perfect and we can all look forward to testing this beauties when they are released in the UK on 14th November 2008.
